Last modified 2007-12-10 16:12

Ohio’s 4-H Cloverbud Program is for youth age 5 and in Kindergarten until they reach age 8 and in third grade.

The primary goal of the Cloverbud program is to promote children’s healthy development—mentally, physically, socially and emotionally.

This program provides an excellent opportunity for children to reach his or her highest potential because early life experiences affect future development.

The Cloverbud Program aids children in exploration of the following areas:

· Healthy Lifestyles

· Earth and Environment

· Citizenship

· Plants

· Animals

· Consumerism and Family Sciences

· Science & Technology

· Personal Development

· Community Expressive Arts

The Knox County 4-H Cloverbud Program is guided by over 30 adult volunteers who are involved with over 20 different clubs and more than 60 members.

If you are interested in getting your child into the Knox County Cloverbud Program please contact Andrea at 397-0401.

A State-wide newsletter, OHIO 4-H CLOVERBUD CONNECTIONS, was designed for 4-H Volunteers working with the Cloverbud program.  It is published quarterly and provides a unique blend of education, activities, and fun to build and challenge Cloverbud Volunteers as they lead kindergarten through second grade youth.
