“4-H is a community of young people across America who are learning leadership, citizenship, and life skills"
4-H is a non-formal educational, youth development program offered to individuals age 5 and in Kindergarten to 19. Youth ages 5 and who are in Kindergarten to age 8 can participate in the Cloverbud Program. The traditional program encompasses youth ages 8 and in 3rd grade to age 19.
Youth are involved in hands-on, experiential learning that allows learning by doing . All 4-H programs focus on active involvement and quality experiences which stimulate lifelong learning of values and skills.
The Knox County 4-H Program is guided by over 300 adult volunteers. Currently the program has over 85 community clubs that have over 1,300 members. For more information or to find 4-H Clubs in your area please contact Andrea at 397-0401.
